Sharing God’s Consolation
God transforms the experiences we live through with Him into opportunities to bring hope and comfort to others.
Reflection
The comfort we receive from God was never meant to end with us. When God restores our hearts, He also equips us to accompany those who are going through difficult moments. Many times, we want to help others with quick answers, but people who suffer usually need first to feel heard, understood, and accompanied. The same God who sustains us in our trials teaches us to approach others with compassion. Paul was able to comfort because he had personally experienced God’s faithfulness in the midst of his own afflictions. Our wounds, processes, and difficult moments can become tools God uses to show His love. It is not about having all the answers, but about humbly sharing the hope we have found in Him.
Practical application
Look for an opportunity to accompany someone going through a difficulty and share God’s love with that person.
Prayer
Lord, thank You because You have been my comfort in moments when I needed strength to continue. Help me not forget those who are also going through struggles and need to feel Your love through someone close to them. Give me a sensitive heart, words filled with grace, and a willingness to serve. Use my story and everything You have done in me to bring hope and comfort to others. Amen.
