God Calls Us with a Purpose

God has created each person with a purpose and invites us to participate in His work through a life of service and obedience.

Reflection

One of the most important questions we can ask is: why am I here? The Bible teaches that our lives are not the product of chance, but that God created us with intention and purpose. Paul reminds believers that we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ to carry out the good works He prepared beforehand. This means our purpose does not begin with our abilities, dreams, or personal plans, but with God’s design for our lives. Many times, we seek meaning in achievements, recognition, or personal goals, but true purpose is discovered when we align our lives with the Lord’s will. God calls every believer to participate in His mission in a unique way, using the gifts, experiences, and opportunities He has allowed. Not everyone will have the same path, but everyone can live a life that glorifies God. Jesus lived with a clear purpose: to fulfill the Father’s will and bring salvation to the world. When we follow His example, we stop living centered only on ourselves and begin understanding that our lives can be instruments to bless others.

Prayer

Beloved Father, thank You because my life has purpose in Your hands. Thank You because I was not created by accident, but with intention and love. Help me discover and fulfill what You have called me to do. Forgive me for the times I have sought my own direction without considering Your plans. Guide my decisions, use my gifts, and help me serve according to Your will. May my life not be focused only on my own interests, but on fulfilling the purpose You prepared for me beforehand. Amen.
