In the area of purity, waiting for God’s timing means honoring His principles and trusting that His plans are better than impulsive decisions. Patience is not a sign of a lack of love, but evidence of mature love that knows how to wait and protect what God has designed. Jesus showed perfect love by giving Himself sacrificially and obeying the Father. When we learn to wait on God, we stop being governed by impulses and begin living under His wisdom.
