God’s Counsel Stands Forever
God’s plans do not change with time or depend on circumstances. His wisdom remains firm because He knows all things perfectly.
Reflection
Human beings constantly make plans, but many times we discover that our ideas must change because we do not know everything that lies ahead. God, however, has a complete perspective. He knows the past, present, and future, and His thoughts are always guided by perfect wisdom and love. The Bible shows us people who had their own plans but learned that God’s purpose was greater. Joseph could not imagine the path he would travel, but God was directing every stage of his story. When we trust the Lord’s counsel, we stop depending only on our limited vision and learn to rest in His eternal purposes. His plans may take paths different from ours, but they are always directed toward what He desires to form in us.
Practical application
Review one of your personal plans and surrender it to God, asking Him to align your desires with His will.
Prayer
Beloved Father, thank You because Your thoughts and plans are greater than mine. Help me trust Your counsel when my path differs from what I imagined. Give me humility to accept Your direction and patience to wait for Your timing. May my decisions be guided by Your wisdom, and may my life reflect trust in Your eternal purposes. Amen.
