God’s Power Is Made Perfect in Our Weakness
Human weakness is not an obstacle to God; often it is the place where His power is revealed most clearly.
Reflection
Society teaches us to hide our weaknesses and display only strength. We want to prove that we can solve everything, maintain control, and need no help. Yet the message of the gospel shows us a different reality: God can work powerfully through our dependence on Him. Paul experienced this truth when he asked God to remove a difficulty from his life. The Lord’s answer was not to immediately remove the problem, but to show him that His grace was sufficient. Instead of being a limitation, that weakness became a space where Paul could experience God’s power more deeply. This reminds us that we do not need to have everything resolved for God to use us. He can work in the midst of our limitations, weariness, and struggles. When we stop trusting only in our own strength, we make room to experience strength that comes from Him.
Practical application
Acknowledge before God an area where you feel weak and ask Him to reveal His power instead of depending only on your own strength.
Prayer
Lord, thank You because Your power is revealed even in my moments of weakness. Help me stop hiding my limitations and learn to depend more on You. When I feel that I do not have enough strength, remind me that Your grace sustains me and Your power is greater than every difficulty. Form in me a humble heart that recognizes my need for You and trusts fully in Your strength. Amen.
