The purpose of our lives is not only to achieve personal goals, but to live in a way that honors God in everything we do. The Bible teaches us to honor the Lord with our possessions, but this teaching goes far beyond material things; it includes our time, decisions, abilities, and hearts. Honoring God means recognizing that everything we are and have comes from Him and that our lives belong to Him. Every daily action can become an expression of worship when we do it seeking to please Him. At times, we think honoring God happens only in spiritual moments, but He desires to be present in every area of our lives. When we live to honor Him, our priorities change and we find a deeper purpose that goes beyond ourselves.

Prayer

Beloved Father, thank You because You have given me the opportunity to live to honor You and glorify Your name. Help me recognize that everything I have comes from You and that my life belongs to Your purposes. Teach me to place You first in my decisions, thoughts, and actions. Remove everything that seeks my own glory and form within my heart a sincere desire to please You. May every area of my life become an expression of worship, and may others see Your love reflected in me. Amen.
