David compared God to a firm rock, a secure place where he could remain even in difficulty. When we trust the Lord, we find stability that does not mean the absence of problems, but the assurance that we have support that never changes. God remains constant when everything around us seems to move and enables us to walk confidently because our security is placed in Him.

Strengthen my trust, direct my steps, and allow me to experience the security that comes from knowing You never change. May my stability always be founded on Your presence. Amen.
