Reflection

The way God treats us is completely different from the way we often treat others. He knows our weaknesses, our mistakes, and our struggles, yet He still draws near with mercy. The Bible shows us a God who is not indifferent to our pain or distant when we fail. His mercy means that we do not receive what we deserve, because His grace reaches us and offers us a new opportunity. David experienced this reality when he acknowledged that God forgives our iniquities and heals our wounds. God’s mercy is not an excuse to live far from Him, but an invitation to draw near with a grateful and transformed heart. When we understand how much compassion we have received from Him, we also learn to extend mercy to those around us.

Prayer

Beloved Father, thank You because Your mercies are greater than my mistakes and deeper than my weaknesses. Thank You because You receive me with patience and give me new opportunities each day. Help me understand Your compassionate heart more fully and treat others with the same grace I have received from You. Remove every hardness from me and teach me to reflect Your love through my words and actions. Amen.
