Justified by Faith

Justification is God’s work through which He declares righteous the sinner who places faith in Christ, restoring their relationship with Him.

One of the most important truths of the gospel is that our acceptance before God does not depend on our own merit, but on the perfect work of Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that we are justified through faith, which means God declares us righteous not because we have achieved perfection, but because Christ fulfilled what we could not fulfill. Justification results in peace with God because it removes the separation caused by sin and allows us to draw near to the Father with confidence. This truth changes the way we live because we stop trying to earn God’s favor through human effort and begin responding from the security of His grace. Jesus took our place and gave us a standing before God that we could never obtain by ourselves. True faith does not merely believe a truth, but rests in Christ’s completed work and produces a life transformed by gratitude.
