Worship Exalts God
The purpose of worship is to exalt God, recognize His greatness, and give Him the glory that He alone deserves.
Reflection
To worship means to recognize God’s supreme worth and respond with reverence to who He is. When we worship, we are not merely seeking an emotional experience, but declaring that God holds first place in our lives. The Bible shows us that all creation is called to recognize His greatness and give Him honor. Worship changes our perspective because it helps us stop focusing only on ourselves and turn our eyes toward the Lord’s majesty. As we exalt God, we remember His power, love, and faithfulness, strengthening our trust in Him. A life of continual worship reflects a heart that recognizes that everything we are and have comes from God.
Practical application
Reflect today on God’s greatness and look for ways to exalt Him through your life, words, and actions.
Prayer
Beloved Father, thank You because You are worthy of all honor and worship. Help me live while recognizing Your greatness and give You the place You deserve in my heart. May my life not seek my own glory, but reflect Yours in everything I do. Teach me to worship You sincerely, reverently, and gratefully each day. Amen.
