Adversity Reveals Our Dependence on God

God uses difficult moments to teach us to depend less on our own strength and trust more fully in His power.

Adversity has a way of showing us our limitations and reminding us that we need God. Many times, we live trusting in our abilities, plans, or resources until we face situations beyond what we can solve on our own. In those moments, we discover that true security is not found in having everything under control, but in depending on the Lord. Paul experienced situations so difficult that he felt he could not rely on his own strength, but that led him to depend completely on God. Adversity can be an instrument God uses to transform our trust, teaching us to seek His direction and rest in His power. When we recognize our need for Him, our faith grows and our relationship with God is strengthened.

Beloved Father, thank You because You are my strength and refuge in every circumstance.
