Strength Comes from the Lord
God is the true source of our strength and sustains us when we recognize that our help comes from Him.
Reflection
Many times, we seek strength in our own abilities, experiences, or available resources. Although God has given us skills and tools to face life, the Bible reminds us that our primary help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Recognizing our dependence on God is not a sign of weakness, but an expression of faith and humility. When we stop relying only on our own strength and turn to Him, we find strength that remains even when circumstances change. God can sustain us in moments of weariness, guide us in uncertainty, and renew us when we feel unable to continue. True spiritual strength is born from a close relationship with God and complete trust in His power.
Practical application
Reflect today on the source of your strength and ask whether you are depending more on your abilities or on God’s power.
Prayer
Beloved Father, thank You because my help comes from You and because You sustain my life in every season. Forgive me for the times I have tried to face everything through my own strength and forgotten to seek Your direction. Teach me to depend more on You, trust Your power, and rest in Your care. When I feel weak, remind me that You are my strength and that with You I can face every challenge. Amen.
