The Mind of Christ Thinks with Love

Having the mind of Christ means learning to see people with the same love, compassion, and grace He showed.

Reflection

Jesus did not see people as the world saw them. He looked beyond mistakes, appearances, and outward conditions. He saw Zacchaeus as someone who needed restoration, Peter as someone who needed to be strengthened, and the crowds as sheep without a shepherd. His love was not superficial; it was a love that sought to transform lives. Many times, our way of thinking is influenced by prejudice, wounds, or personal interests. We may judge quickly, respond harshly, or distance ourselves from those who are different from us. But Christ calls us to a deeper transformation: to learn to see through His eyes. Having the mind of Christ means allowing His love to govern our thoughts, words, and relationships. When Christ changes the way we see others, He also changes the way we treat them.

Practical application

Look at one relationship today where you need more love and ask God to help you see it from Christ’s perspective.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You because Your love does not depend on people’s conditions, but on Your own character full of grace and mercy. Help me think as You think and see others with a heart more like Yours. Remove pride, criticism, and lack of compassion from me. Teach me to love patiently, forgive freely, and reflect Your heart in every relationship. Amen.
