The Parable of the Leaven

In this parable, Jesus compared the kingdom of heaven to leaven that a woman mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked through all the dough. Although leaven seems small and works quietly, it has power to transform the entire mixture. God’s work often happens invisibly, yet its effects become evident over time. The Holy Spirit works within us, changing our thoughts, attitudes, and actions to make us more like Christ.
