A Visible Transformation
Christ’s work in a person produces a real transformation that begins in the heart and is reflected in their entire way of living.
Reflection
When Christ enters our lives, God does not merely make a superficial modification; He begins a complete work of renewal. Salvation changes our identity, our relationship with God, and the way we view the world. Although the transformation process is progressive and we still face struggles, the presence of Christ produces new evidence in our lives. A person reached by God’s grace begins to experience changes in priorities, attitudes, words, and decisions. Visible transformation does not mean we will never make mistakes, but that a new direction now exists: we are no longer ruled by our old nature, but guided by the work of the Holy Spirit. Our lives become a testimony of God’s power to restore, heal, and make all things new. The purpose of this change is not for others to admire our abilities, but for them to recognize Christ’s work within us.
Practical application
Close your eyes for a few minutes and remember how God has transformed areas of your life since you began walking with Him.
Prayer
Beloved Father, thank You because in Christ I received not only forgiveness, but also a new life. Thank You because Your grace continues working within me and because You have not left me unchanged. Help me reflect through my words, decisions, and actions the transformation You are producing in my heart. When I see areas where I still need to grow, remind me that Your work continues and that You are faithful to complete what You began. May my life be a living testimony of Your love and power. Amen.
