Living in trust in Christ means resting in the One who, though God, chose to draw near to us by taking on our humanity.

Reflection

The incarnation of Jesus is one of the deepest truths of the gospel: the eternal God did not remain distant, but entered our history to draw near to us. The Son of God took human form, experienced our limitations, knew weariness, pain, and the difficulties of life, yet remained without sin. This shows us that God is not indifferent to our reality. When we face moments of sadness, fear, or uncertainty, we can approach Christ with confidence because He understands our struggles. But Jesus did not come only to identify with us; He came to bring us back to the Father. His humanity reveals His love and closeness, while His divinity reveals that He has the power to save us completely. In Christ we find a Savior who understands our condition and at the same time has authority to transform our lives.

Practical application

Bring a personal concern to Jesus today and remember that you have a Savior who knows your reality and can sustain you.

Prayer

Beloved Father, thank You because in Jesus Christ You drew near to us in a way we can know and experience. Thank You because Jesus understands my struggles and knows my weaknesses, but also has power to sustain and transform me. Help me trust Him more deeply, not only as someone who accompanies me, but as the Lord who came to rescue me. May the reality of Christ with me change the way I face each day. Amen.
