God’s presence remains firm even when our lives seem surrounded by uncertainty and chaos.
There are moments when circumstances seem to spiral out of control. Difficult news, family problems, financial concerns, or unexpected situations can make us feel that we are losing stability. Yet the Bible reminds us that our security is not found in having a world without problems, but in knowing the God who remains in the midst of them. When the disciples faced a storm at sea, Jesus was with them even though everything seemed out of control. His presence was their true security. God does not lose authority when our circumstances change. He still rules over what we cannot control. This does not mean we will always understand His plans, but we can trust that nothing is outside His hands. When we recognize His authority, fear begins to be replaced by peace because we know that the God who rules the universe also cares for our lives.
Identify a situation that is causing you anxiety and surrender it to God, remembering that He still has authority over it.
Lord, in the midst of everything I cannot control, help me remember that You remain my refuge and strength. When chaos tries to fill my heart with fear, remind me that Your authority remains and that nothing escapes Your hands. Teach me to trust Your presence more than my circumstances and give me the peace that comes from knowing You rule over my life. Amen.
