Many people desire to hear God’s voice, but sometimes they seek answers only through extraordinary experiences while neglecting the primary place where God has already spoken: His Word. The Bible is not merely a book of ancient stories; it is the revelation of the heart of a God who desires a relationship with His children. Through its pages, we know His character, understand His will, and find hope for every season of life. Jesus Himself faced temptation by using God’s Word, demonstrating that Scripture is nourishment and guidance for our spiritual lives. When we approach the Bible with a willing heart, we are not only looking for information; we are seeking an encounter with God. His Word illuminates our decisions, corrects our path, and reminds us of the truths we need when circumstances try to draw us away from Him.
Read a Bible passage slowly today, and before you begin, ask God to allow you to hear His voice through His Word.
Beloved Father, thank You because You did not leave us to walk without direction. Thank You for Your Word, where we can know Your heart and find the truth that transforms our lives. Help me not to approach Scripture merely as an obligation, but as an encounter with You. Open my understanding, shape my character, and allow every word I read to produce real changes in the way I live. Amen.
