Jesus is the fulfillment of the promise God announced in ancient times: the long-awaited Savior who would bring redemption to His people.
Throughout the entire biblical story, we see one promise that remains: God would send a Savior. From Genesis through the prophets, Scripture pointed toward the coming of the Messiah. The people of Israel waited for the One who would restore all things, but many times their expectations focused on an earthly kingdom and political liberation. When Jesus came, He fulfilled a much deeper mission: He came to conquer sin, reconcile humanity to God, and establish an eternal kingdom. Every detail of His life confirmed that He was the promised Messiah. His birth, ministry, death, and resurrection reveal that God always fulfills His promises, although He often does so in a way different from what we imagine. Christ reminds us that we can trust God’s faithfulness because none of His words remain unfulfilled.
Read a prophecy about Christ and thank God because He fulfills every one of His promises.
Beloved Father, thank You because from the beginning You prepared the way to send Jesus Christ, our Savior and promised Messiah. Help me trust Your promises even when I do not understand Your timing or Your ways. May the life of Christ strengthen my faith and remind me that You always keep Your word. Teach me to wait on You with patience and hope. Amen.
