God not only knows our destination; He also guides every step of the journey when we learn to trust Him.
One of the most common human struggles is wanting to have the entire path defined before moving forward. We seek to know every detail, anticipate every outcome, and make sure we do not make mistakes. Yet God often guides us step by step, teaching us to depend on Him instead of trusting only in our own planning. The Bible does not teach that making plans is wrong, but that we must recognize our paths are under the direction of a God who sees beyond what we can see. Abraham had to leave without fully knowing the destination, but he walked trusting the One who called him. In the same way, God may close doors, open new opportunities, and redirect our plans to lead us toward His purpose. When we allow Him to direct our steps, we stop living ruled by the fear of making mistakes and begin walking with the confidence that our Father guides our path.
Surrender your plans to God today and ask Him for direction in every decision ahead of you.
Beloved Father, thank You because my path does not depend only on my understanding, but on Your perfect direction. Help me trust when I cannot clearly see the next step and recognize Your voice above my own desires. Guide my decisions, correct my paths when necessary, and teach me to walk humbly, knowing Your plans are better than mine. Amen.
