The Bible shows men and women who sought God in prayer at different moments in their lives and found guidance, comfort, and strength. When we view prayer as fellowship rather than merely a list of requests, our relationship with God becomes deeper and more meaningful.

Reflect today on the quality of your prayer life and seek to draw near to God not only because of what you need, but because you desire to be in His presence.

Prayer

Beloved Father, thank You because You allow me to draw near to You in prayer. Help me develop a deeper relationship with You and seek Your presence each day. May my prayer not be only a request for needs, but a time of fellowship in which I can know You, listen to You, and trust You more. Teach me to enjoy being in Your presence and to depend on Your direction at all times. Amen.
