God’s presence does not merely accompany us; it also becomes our source of strength when our own strength is not enough.
There are seasons when we feel our abilities have reached their limit. We try to remain steady, solve problems, and keep moving forward, but eventually we recognize our own fragility. It is precisely in those moments that we discover one of the deepest truths of faith: God does not merely watch us from a distance; He draws near and sustains our lives. The psalmist declared that God was his refuge and strength in the midst of trouble, not because he never faced difficulties, but because he had learned where to find security. God’s presence does not automatically remove every problem, but it changes the way we face it. When we know He is with us, we find strength to continue, peace to wait, and hope to remain firm. Our strength is not born from denying our weaknesses, but from recognizing that God’s power is revealed precisely when we depend on Him.
Identify a situation where you feel weak and surrender it to God, asking Him to make His presence your strength.
Beloved Father, thank You because when my strength runs out, You remain my refuge and strength. Help me stop depending only on my ability and teach me to rest in Your power. In moments of weariness, fear, or uncertainty, remind me that Your presence is with me and that I do not have to face my struggles alone. Renew my heart, strengthen my faith, and help me walk in trust each day. Amen.
