Introduction

God takes the initiative to reveal Himself to humanity so we can know His character, His will, and His plan of salvation.

Reflection

God has not left humanity without direction or knowledge of who He is. Throughout history, the Lord has revealed Himself in different ways, displaying His power, love, and purpose. Creation, Scripture, and especially Jesus Christ allow us to know aspects of His nature and understand His desire for a relationship with us. God’s revelation is an expression of grace because He chose to draw near to humanity and allow us to know Him. We cannot discover God completely through our own efforts; we need Him to show us who He is. As we receive His revelation, our faith grows and our lives find deeper purpose in Him.

Practical application

Reflect today on the ways God has revealed Himself in your life and give thanks that He desires to be known by you.

Prayer

Beloved Father, thank You because You did not remain distant, but chose to reveal Yourself and show us Your love. Help me seek You with a willing heart and recognize Your presence in the ways You speak into my life. Allow me to know You more deeply through Your Word and through Christ. May my relationship with You grow each day, and may my life respond with faith and obedience to Your revelation. Amen.
