The wisdom that comes from God not only helps us make better decisions; it also transforms the people we are becoming.
Many times, we seek God’s wisdom only to solve problems or make important decisions, but true wisdom has a deeper purpose: shaping our character. God does not only want to change our circumstances; He wants to transform us. The wisdom from above produces humility, patience, mercy, and a heart willing to reflect Christ. Through every experience, God uses His Word, His Spirit, and even difficulties to mold us. Just as a sculptor carefully works a piece until it takes the desired form, God works within us to develop a character that reflects His love. The processes we face are not merely obstacles; they can become tools God uses for our spiritual growth.
Identify one character quality God is forming in you and ask Him to continue working in that area.
Beloved Father, thank You because Your wisdom not only directs my decisions, but also transforms my heart. Help me accept the processes You use to shape my character and give me humility to learn from every experience. May Your Spirit produce in me patience, love, mercy, and every fruit that reflects Christ. Make me more like Jesus each day. Amen.
